Mckenna Mazeski started running at age 10 when she joined the Parker Panthers cross country team.  She won first overall female in a local 5K that same year and has won multiple times since in 3 different states.

Mckenna started 2017 on crutches due to a non-running related injury (never jump into a pool unless you know how deep it is), but then went on to become the 12 year old age group champion at the 39th annual BolderBoulder 10K running 40:57, ran a half marathon with her family, set a 5K PR of 18:30, and finished 4th overall at the USATF National Junior Olympic Cross Country Championships in Tallahassee, FL.

She’s off to a good start in 2018 winning her age group at the prestigious Carlsbad 5000 in March.

Mckenna’s Parker Panther girls team (9-10 age group, then 11-12) has taken first place at USATF Nationals the past 3 years and will now compete in the 13-14 age division later this year.
